Weight Diet and Loss Pills And Supplements – Gimmicks Or otherwise?

“Take the blue pill…take the red pill…?”… recall the line?

“Take the azure pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the line?

These’re the original words uttered… the movie series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is living in a planet of controlled belief. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the movie, is leading younger Neo via a crazy ride in “reality” vs. perception. As with the movie it is my work, as a personal trainer, to direct individuals with a journey in perception.

Even in “real-life” it looks like we, teaburn as depicted in this film, only believe that taking a medicine can provide us all the solutions to the needs of ours. The question of mine to help you is…”Do you think all the problems of yours could be solved by shooting a pill?” Do you truly believe that information are available from drugs or perhaps do you assume that answers come from individual responsibility? I guess the actual issue is…”Do you have faith in prevention or “cure”?

Apart from the quirky movie comparison… What is your perspective as related to health, body, and better living? Does better living originated from better pharmacology? Sure…I guess millions of lives are saved from disease, illness, and genetic failures. Do we accept responsibility for our behavior which contributes directly to bad health and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even if the hottest weight reduction pill did work – Do you find it going to work life long? What exactly are the risks associated with many of the latest weightloss pills? Virtually any pill we take has a “side-effect” attached to the use of its in people which are many. It seems folks are prepared to pay just about anything to get their hands on the hottest diet pill, or weight loss gimmick out there. Even worse – prescription medicines are passed out such as candy to a huge selection of thousands of obese folks. As all of us know a number of these medications have confirmed to be quite risky, even deadly.

I estimate most of the concerns as well as frustrations I get from folks relevant to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, can easily be traced directlyto one very important and fundamental question: Are we a solution driven society or a prevention driven society? Will it make sense that the most up carbo-blocker, fat burner or fat loss pill will reverse years of very poor living? Do you truly think that your individual responsibility is usually absolved by a pill?

Lets’ take the general type of “dieting” for example: one program works this way, you’re taking several pills in the early morning – get a nutritional shake in the afternoon, chug down another handful of pills by late evening, and consume a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner during the night. OK. – How things go when you decide to go off this diet program? I guess all of the spectacular results just vanish entirely! Sure, they let you know to take this product, subsequently that product…then hold the breath of yours for 10 seconds while jumping up and down…ok…ok, I’m getting carried away – I am aware. The point is; if you have to draw the special pills and perform the special diet you simply won’t undertake it for long – that’s why it is called a diet program. The name itself assures a person that it is something that you start as well as stop! Not any, friends – better living isn’t something you start & stop, it is a thing you benefit from when you accept responsibility for the care of your body and health.

So what is the right formula? Well, my answer is to ask yourself some very important questions.

One; Will you think that personal responsibility supersedes a cure all (diet pill)?
