The Favorite Weight Loss of mine Snacks

I cannot tell you the number of times during the past 20 years that I began diets, only to fall off the wagon 2 to 3 weeks down the line and pile all of the weight back on yet again! Then last May I had another go, just this time on the terms of mine, slowly and without needing to deprive myself of everything at once. The thing I decided fairly early on, was making without any doubt I had in the house a selection of snacks that would replace the biscuits, cakes as well as chocolates which I had got into the practice of grazing on. If you are trying to slim down, these are my top 5 recommendations:

1. Raisins as well as nuts. Most weight loss pills that actually work ( loss diets do not include these as they are pretty high in energy, but consumed in a tiny amount (a handful) they fill you in place until the next main meal and don’t result in the slump in energy that you are able to get one hour after taking in junk food.

2. Bananas. Very easy to get on the run or even on the way of yours into the office. They’re very filling and have a low GI, for this reason energy is released slowly rather than all in one hit. I made positive I always had a banana in the bag of mine for a mid-afternoon or mid-morning snack.

3. Porridge. Once again, a slow burner, that kept me full from breakfast through till lunch. Add a spoonful of honey and some cinnamon for a truly delicious start to the day.

4. Snack a Jacks. I do not know about you, but I at times simply have to have a crisp! I crave the salt along with the crunch component. Fortunately, these have much less fat then the standard variety of crisp. Throw these into your shopping trolley and you’ll feel far less guilty than if you were to eat the whole fat version.

5. Crumpets. Ok, so I am a Brit and I like my crumpets! Did you realize they’re suprisingly low in fat? Ideal for a saturday mid-afternoon tea whenever the family are digging in their jam and scones – we live in Devon which is well known for cream teas, so not an easy place to diet in! Put a teaspoon of jam on the best (but virtually no butter) and also you will not feel very unhappy. Additionally a good bet when you are craving carbohydrates and want a low calorie alternative to biscuits and cakes.

Thus, that’s my top five list of diet plan snacks. Keep in mind, everything in moderation and you are going to get to your goal!
