“Take the azure pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the series?
“Take the blue pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the series?
These’re the very first words uttered… the film series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is the fact that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is residing in a planet of controlled belief. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the film, is leading younger Neo via a wild ride of “reality” vs. belief. Like the movie it’s the job of mine, as a personal trainer, to guide individuals with a trip in belief.
Even during “real-life” it seems that we, as depicted in this movie, amazon alpilean reviews, simply click the up coming post, simply believe that taking a tablet can provide us all the solutions to the desires of ours. My question for you is…”Do you think all your issues could be fixed by taking a pill?” Do you really believe that information come from pills or do you feel that answers are derived from individual responsibility? I guess the actual issue is…”Do you have confidence in “cure” or prevention?
Apart from the quirky movie comparison… What’s your perspective as associated with health, fitness, and better living? Does better living come from better pharmacology? Sure…I estimate large numbers of lives are saved from illness, illness, along with genetic failures. Do we accept responsibility for the behavior of ours that contributes directly to health which is bad and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even when the hottest weight loss pill did work – Do you find it going to work life-long? What exactly are the risks connected with many of the newest weightloss pills? Virtually any pill we take has a “side-effect” attached to the use of its in individuals that are many. It seems people are prepared to pay essentially anything to get their hands on the hottest diet pill, or weight loss gimmick in existence. Far worse – prescription drugs are passed out like candy to a large number of thousands of obese folks. As we all know several of these medications have shown to be pretty dangerous, even deadly.
I estimate most of the questions as well as frustrations I get from folks relevant to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, could be traced back to one vitally important and essential question: Are we a solution driven society or a prevention driven society? Does it make sense that the newest carbo-blocker, fat burner or maybe weight loss pill will reverse years of very poor living? Do you really think that your personal responsibility can be absolved by a pill?
Lets’ utilize the normal type of “dieting” for example: one system works this way, you are taking a number of pills in the morning – get a nutritional shake in the evening, chug down yet another handful of pills by late evening, and eat a boxed, pre-portioned, specialized dinner at bedtime. OK. – How things go when you decide to go off this diet program? I assume all of the spectacular results just vanish entirely! Without a doubt, they let you know to take this product, then that product…then hold the breath of yours for ten seconds while moving up and down…ok…ok, I’m getting taken away – I know. The point is; in case you have to draw the specific pills and do the particular diet you just won’t get it done for long – that is why it is called a diet program. The name itself assures the individual that it’s something which you commence as well as stop! No, friends – better lifestyle is not something you start and stop, it’s something you reap some benefits from whenever you accept responsibility for the care of your body and well being.
So what’s the solution? Effectively, the answer of mine is to ask yourself some vitally important questions.
One; Do you believe that individual responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
