Weight Loss & Diet Pills And Supplements – Gimmicks Or not?

“Take the azure pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the series?

“Take the blue pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the series?

These’re the first words uttered… the film line is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is the fact that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is living in a world of controlled belief. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the movie, is leading younger Neo through a wild ride in “reality” vs. belief. As with the film it is my job, as a personal trainer, to steer individuals with a journey in belief.

Along with “real-life” it seems that we, as depicted in this movie, only believe that taking a medicine can give us all of the solutions to our desires. The question of mine for you is…”Do you think all your problems could be solved by capturing a pill?” Do you truly assume that answers come from drugs or perhaps do you assume that answers originate from personal responsibility? I guess the real question is…”Do you trust prevention or “cure”?

Apart from the quirky movie comparison… What’s your perspective as related to health, fitness, and better living? does alpilean work review (sneak a peek at this website) better living originated from much better pharmacology? Sure…I estimate large numbers of lives are saved from disease, genetic failures, along with illness. Do we accept responsibility for our conduct that contributes straight to health which is poor and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even when the newest fat reduction pill did work – Can it be going to work life long? What exactly are the risks associated with many of the latest weight loss supplements? Almost any pill we take has a “side effect” attached to its use in men and women which are many. It seems folks are prepared to pay just about anything to get their hands on the latest diet pill, or weight loss gimmick in existence. Worse – prescription medications are passed out such as candy to hundreds of countless obese folks. As we all know a number of these medications have shown to be pretty risky, even deadly.

I suppose most of the inquiries and frustrations I get from folks related to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, could be traced to one really important as well as fundamental question: Are we a cure driven society or maybe a prevention driven society? Does it make sense that the latest carbo-blocker, fat burner or maybe fat loss pill is going to reverse years of very poor living? Do you truly assume that the personal responsibility of yours is usually absolved by a pill?

Lets’ take the normal model of “dieting” for example: one program works this way, you take several pills in the early morning – enjoy a health shake in the afternoon, chug down another couple of pills by late afternoon, and consume a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner at night. OK. – What happens when you decide to go off this diet program? I imagine all of the spectacular results simply disappear! Of course, they tell you to have this item, then that product…then hold the breath of yours for 10 seconds while jumping up and down…ok…ok, I’m getting taken away – I know. The point is; if you have to fill the specific pills and perform the special diet you simply won’t do it for long – that’s why it’s called a weight loss program. The name itself assures the person that it’s a thing that you start and stop! Not any, friends – better existence isn’t one thing you begin and stop, it is something you benefit from if you accept responsibility for the proper care of your health and body.

So what’s the right formula? Well, my answer is asking yourself some very important questions.

One; Do you assume that individual responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
