“Take the azure pill…take the red pill…?”… recall the line?
“Take the blue pill…take the white pill…?”… remember the line?
These’re the very first words uttered… the film series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is dwelling in a planet of controlled perception. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the movie, is guiding young Neo via a crazy ride in “reality” vs. perception. Similar to the film it is my job, as a personal trainer, to direct individuals through a journey in belief.
Even during “real-life” it seems that we, as depicted in this film, alpilean reviews fda approved only believe that taking a medicine can provide us all the solutions to the desires of ours. My question for you is…”Do you believe all your problems could be fixed by taking a pill?” Do you really think that answers are available from drugs or do you believe that answers come from personal responsibility? I guess the true question is…”Do you have faith in prevention or “cure”?
Aside from the quirky video comparison… What’s the perspective of yours as related to well being, body, and better living? Does better living originated from better pharmacology? Sure…I guess large numbers of lives are saved from illness, illness, along with hereditary failures. Do we accept responsibility for our behavior that contributes directly to health which is poor and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even if the hottest weight loss pill did work – Can it be going to work life-long? What are the risks associated with a lot of the latest diet pills? Virtually any pill we take has a “side-effect” attached to the use of its in many individuals. It seems people are ready to pay just about anything to get their hands on the latest diet pill, or maybe weight loss gimmick in existence. Far worse – prescription medications are passed out like candy to a huge selection of a huge number of obese folks. As all of us know a number of these medications have shown to be quite risky, even deadly.
I estimate many of the concerns as well as frustrations I receive from people relevant to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, can easily be traced directlyto one vitally important as well as essential question: Are we a solution driven culture or maybe a prevention driven society? Does it make sense that the newest carbo-blocker, fat burner or losing weight pill is going to reverse years of very poor living? Do you truly think that your personal responsibility is usually absolved by a pill?
Lets’ take the normal style of “dieting” for example: one program works like this, you’re taking many pills in the early morning – enjoy a health shake in the late afternoon, chug down another couple of pills by late afternoon, and eat a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner at night. OK. – What happens when you are going off this weight loss program? I think all of the stunning results just vanish entirely! Without a doubt, they tell you to take this particular product, then that product…then hold your breath for ten seconds while jumping up and down…ok…ok, I am getting taken away – I am aware. The point is; if you’ve to fill the special pills and perform the specific diet you just will not get it done for long – that’s why it is called a weight loss program. The name itself assures the individual that it is a thing that you commence and stop! No, friends – better living isn’t one thing you begin & stop, it is a thing you reap some benefits from when you accept responsibility for the proper care of your body and health.
So what’s the solution? Well, the answer of mine is asking yourself some vitally important questions.
One; Do you assume that personal responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
